How much capacity does the HDA have to assist provinces and municipalities?

The HDA has a staff complement of 74 in offices located in Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. The HDA has capacity in place to assist with advice, guidance, referrals, linkages and positioning in terms of land acquisition and project feasibility. The HDA also has capacity to initiate and oversee sector discussion forums and information sharing opportunities. The HDA can also provide support products and tools and/or partnerships to provide this support.  Additional capacity is brought in on a project by project basis to provide project management services in the form of procurement and placement of technical support, hands-on direct support and funding of project support.
