Title Deeds Restoration Programme

The HDA Free State Office is delivering major progress in accelerating the registration and issuing of title deeds for qualifying beneficiaries as part of the National Title Deed Registration Programme. Key achievements include:

• Analysis and verification of 2,633 beneficiary records across 13 projects
• Completion of 37 beneficiary application documents for Deeds Office lodgement
• Municipal engagements to retrieve misplaced or uncollected title deeds
• Development of a comprehensive implementation plan to strengthen data, township registers and processing efficiency

This work expands access to legal tenure, strengthens asset ownership, and enhances long‑term household security.
